DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Receives wheat from the Terminal Elevator; cleans, tempers and transfers wheat to Mill department for grinding.

• Temper and monitor moisture to ensure that the finished product meets customer specs.

• Oils and assists in maintenance and cleaning of departmental equipment.

• Checks flow of screenings to Mill department.

• Checks temperature on wheat in mill bins.

• Takes sterile samples for the lab.

• Must train and qualify for the Assistant Miller to fill in for vacations.

• Other duties as assigned or required.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

• Working knowledge of grain handling, storage, cleaning and equipment.

• Ability to understand and carry out complex verbal and written instructions.

• Individual must be physically able to perform duties assigned him/her, willing to 

  cooperate, and be able to anticipate duties without being informed continually
